GroundTech Enterprises was a sub contractor on this project, completing all the demolition and excavation work for the Bow River Irrigation District Drop 3.
This project included the demolition and replacement of a 10 meter drop structure on the BRID main canal. We completed the demolition of the existing concrete structure which consisted of 900 cubic meters of concrete.
We then excavated and backfilled the site and supplied and installed 1600 tonne of rip-rap. This is the third large drop structure replacement we have done for the BRID in the last 4 years!
